Anyways I hit Fahrenheit 911 over 12 for 10 units lets say for -140 for convenience, since the line moves after placing a maximum bet. I imagine it's going to do at LEAST 15 million, even though it's only in 800 odd theaters. The buzz is huge, presales are huge, it's been on moviefone for days now, it's got Passionesque hype, I don't think you can go wrong with the over here.

It's now at 12.5 -170. The over is still the play.

yeah, although I'm not too impressed with the trailer, you can't argue with Farrel's popularity... a lot of people are going to be looking forward to this one....
as for Fahrenheit 911, I had a feeling they were going to set the line too low, since they probably used past documentaries to a certain degree to figure out their estimates. Thing is this is going to be the biggest "documentary" ever, and will blow Bowling For Columbine out of the water. Plus having "911" in the title cant' hurt, either. I'm curious to see what Intertops does with this film

the HSX price for Fahrenheit 911 has shot up 6 dollars to aroud 55 in the past 12 hours.

wow.... I've been getting too lazy with trying to get the opening line, I should have gotten up in the middle of the night and checked. I'm on the east coast now and it sounds like they opened it at around 3 a.m. here.

hmm not sure about these Intertops brackets. Over 20 +200 is tempting, but, I don't know if it's in enough theaters to bring in that much. People will drive farther to go and see it, but... the controversy and buzz isn't as strong as it was for the Passion so it's not a gimme by any means

I'm trying to play it safe for now, I'll just stick with the 911 win, and hopefully it makes an insane amount of money and crosses 20 as well. If I lose 2 intertops bets that would just be counterproductive.
